LARRY'S MOMS BUTTER TARTS

PASTRY

2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 cup Crisco shortening

Blend first four (4) ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Beat next three (3) ingredients together with fork.
1 egg
1 tablespoon vinegar
4-6 tablespoons cold water

Add to flour mixture and mix until dough holds together.
Place part of dough on floured board and roll out until about 1/8" thick, then
cut out tart shells.


FILLING

1/4 lb butter (soft)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrop
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs

Mix together with blender.
Put in tart shells but only fill about 3/4 full

Heat oven 350 degrees - Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes.
